How it works
From the first ring to funding, step by step
Five stages, one team, and you decide at every point whether to keep going.
- 1
1. Ring the line or leave a 60-second enquiry
Call 03 4059 1829 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Melbourne time) or send a short enquiry any time. No credit check when you first enquire.
- 2
2. Talk it through with a specialist
Say what the money is for, roughly how much and by when, and whether there's property. The specialist asks about the business and any awkward bits.
- 3
3. Hear what could fit
Secured or unsecured, how long each could take, what each would need, and what could get in the way. Plain answers, no rates quoted blind.
- 4
4. Decide, then documents and checks
Only if you choose to go ahead: a short, specific document list, identity checks and a credit check with your consent. Secured loans add a valuation.
- 5
5. Offer, signing and settlement
All costs set out in writing. Read it, ask questions, get advice. Once signed, funds go to your account or straight to whoever needs paying.
What makes a phone-first process different
Most online lending starts with a long form and ends with a phone call. We flip it. The conversation comes first, so the form-filling that follows is short and relevant. You don't gather documents for an option you'll never use, and you don't get declined by a lender that was never going to suit.
If you'd like to see what the first call sounds like, read what to say when you call and the questions we'll ask. Nervous about a tax debt or an old default? Our what to say pages give you the words.
When to ring
The line is staffed Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Melbourne time, closed on Victorian public holidays. From Perth that's as early as 6am; from Brisbane in summer it's 8am to 4pm. The call planner shows today's window in your local time and builds a one-page prep card.
What we ask of you
Accurate answers, even rough ones. A realistic turnover figure, the true ATO balance, who's on the property title. It's the single biggest thing that speeds up the process and gets you matched properly the first time.
Common questions
Do I have to call, or can I apply online?
Either. Phone and online enquiries reach the same specialists. Call if you can talk now or there's something to explain; use the form if you're busy or it's after hours.
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A check only happens later, with your consent, once you've chosen to proceed.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. One team works on your enquiry and matches it to a suitable lender. We don't farm or sell leads.
How long does the whole process take?
It depends on the option. Unsecured options move mainly on bank statements and ID checks; property-secured loans also need a valuation and loan documents. The specialist will give you a realistic timeline on the first call.
What if my situation is complicated?
That's what the phone is for. ATO debt, past credit issues, property owned by a trust or a recent decline are all easier to explain in a conversation. Mention them early.
What will it cost?
Costs depend on the loan, the security and your situation. You'll see every fee and charge in writing before you sign, and you can ask about any of them on the first call.
Ready to talk it through?
Ring the line now if it suits, or leave your details for a call-back at a time that works. No credit check when you first enquire, and your details stay with one team.
Ringing us won't touch your credit file
